Very nice piece of graffiti. Ok, maybe not nice as I hate all graffiti but at least it’s entertaining.
You really have to wonder what exactly was going through the vandal’s mind when he wrote this.
Found on a bench on College Sreet when Katie and I were on our way home from drinks at dee’s.
so is the bench firm or silken?

This cookie bear was given to me at work. It was a terrible shortbread cookie from the dollar store but I ate it anyway.
I’m also just posting to say I have a new blackberry with a better camera than my old sony ericsson smartphone. That should mean more and better pictures. Yay!
I’m excited to say I’m going to montreal for christmas. Will take lots of snaps.
Kensington Market: final pedestrian sunday
by gerald on Oct.25, 2009, under new
So after brunch i walked home through kensington to pick up a pound of coffee from Moonbean. Got myself some ethiopian yirgicheffe.
The market is amazing and on the last sunday of every month they close it to traffic and fill it with music and street performers. For fun i challenge all my friends abroad to use google street view to explore kensington market and see what i’m talking about.
You’l definitely come to visit me after that!

Benny time!

At sneaky dee’s waiting to have sunday brunch with hilary. Just got my coffee and am contemplating whether i should go with one of the specials or if i should have the classic burro favorito which is a corn flour tortilla filled with sausage, cheese, egg and topped with salsa served with beans, rice and salad.
Thoughts? Incidentally the prices are reduced for brunch. The burro is more than a dollar cheaper than the already cheap price.
Nuit Blanche: fire and sausage

Small Mercies
Best aht installation ever! Since the main theme of area c was apocalypse the idea of this installation was to emulate the post-disaster calm and how people come together to share.
There were making sausages on these garbage bin bbqs and giving out tin cups of cocoa and blankets. There was a poker table and a piano player on the street. Very cool.
Sausages by jamie kennedy and the cups and blankets made for wonderful souvenirs with the word "mercy" printed on both.
Awesome.

Nuit Blanche: homeless bike thing

This was kinda neat. Parking lot was fenced off and these guys dragged their shacks around in circles. Apparently this was a tribute to the ingenuity of homeless in japan.
